Foundation Earth is an independent, non-profit organisation established to issue front-of-pack environmental scores on food products, enabling consumers to make more sustainable buying choices. We have brought together expert scientists and leading figures from food production and retailers across the UK and EU who all share a vision of a future food industry that doesn’t destroy Planet Earth.
The aim is to provide consumers with a clear and credible source for information to make more sustainable buying choices. The Foundation’s pilot launched in Autumn 2021. The Good Little Company being one of the first brands to carry the front-of-pack Environmental scores.
The Good Little Company only uses recyclable, FSC accredited packaging, meaning our sleeves and transport cases are fully recyclable.
We even go one step further. Our sleeves are printed using water-based ink, instead of UV-based. This means if our packaging accidentally ends up in the wrong place it won’t do any damage.
In 2020, The Good Little Company moved to fully recycled and recyclable trays.
Our ‘frosted’ trays are made from recycled plastic bottles, pots and tubs.
